Demand is growing for compacts with wide-angle lenses, and Fujifilm has responded by fitting a 28mm wide-angle lens to an F-series camera. A 28mm lens allows users to capture large groups of people indoors, beautiful landscapes, or any other shot of large groups or wide-open photographic subjects. The combination of wide-angle and a long 4x zoom lens make the F480 the perfect travel companion.

The F480 is fitted with an 8-megapixel CCD and, like previous FinePix models, is fitted with Picture Stabilization Mode, which uses high sensitivity to reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail.
